Not every bakery, snack food and confectionery operation has the linear space for a single inline system to cool product to target temperatures.

Schebler custom-designed Cooling Tunnels can be configured in 3, 5 and 7 tiers to do the job in the most efficient footprint.

Our proprietary computer model developed with Iowa State University helps translate throughput, product density, moisture content and other variables into effective, verifiably efficient machinery.

Multi-Tier Design & Specifications

  • Configuration: Inline, 3-, 5- or 7-tier
  • Air flow: Parallel flow or direct impingement
  • Belt widths: 16” to 60”
  • Tunnel lengths: Modular 8’ sections to any length
  • Insulation: Fully insulated, removable panels
  • Cooling options: Zone control; chill plate
  • Cleaning: Stainless steel removable panels; optional clean-in-place (CIP)
  • Materials: All-stainless steel construction
  • Belting options: FDA-approved single or two-ply fabric; stainless steel wire; plastic modular
